The HIWV wet-route separator works with an integrated fan. The contaminants are separated from the air by a combination of a water whirlpool and a disintegration principle. The contaminated air enters tangentially through the middle of the section, and is then diverted. The flow of air rotates to generate a water whirlpool, through which the raw gas has to pass.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The finest particles are filtered out, that is, by the force of the fan, which is employed simultaneously as a disintegrator.
The particles are thoroughly mixed with the water.
As a result of the spinning, they form a curtain of water which achieves a high degree of separation.
The soaked particles return together with the filtered fluid to the interior of the filter, where they settle in the collection area.
The clean gas escapes through the central ventilation duct.
